I became a journalist to tell the stories of my community and naturally segued into public relations to help businesses and organizations maximize their reach and develop communications strategies that make a difference. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in print journalism and a Master of Arts degree in public relations.

I've worked at major media companies such as Gannett and Raycom Media and have bylines in national outlets like USA TODAY and We Buy Black and numerous community newspapers across the country. My communications experience is in government and the nonprofit and entertainment industries.

I strive to make a difference by telling compelling stories that inspire the masses. As a proud two-time HBCU graduate, I am a fierce HBCU advocate and will continue to do work that complements their role and highlights their importance. I also enjoy creating and building community through effective, ethical communications.
